JETTY

Located between Candidasa and Padang Bai, this dive spot is made up of artificial reefs, including metal structures of ancient fishing boats. The pier extends in length about 200 meters and the dives are made from the dive boat.

On this site, no vertiginous drop offs or mushroom coral  but a gentle slope of white sand sheltering an abundant and incredible marine diversity: seahorses, nudibranchs, frogfish, lionfish, clown fish, trunk fish, moray eels, orangutan crabs. Porcelain crab, shrimp as well as incredible blue-ring octopus, demon fish or scorpion leaf fish.

You can also see big fish like schools of snappers, batfish or groupers to name a few.

It is without questioning the best dive site for any macro photography enthusiast or underwater biologist lover. You can explore the jetty's surroundings (including the South-East zone with several rocks hosting several species) and under the pier itself, where concrete pillars covered with gorgonians and other soft corals host many juvenile fish and their predators. .

The fauna and flora are so rich and varied that you can do two dives to explore the details without getting tired of it. If the conditions are not favorable to dive on Jetty, the second dive can be done on one of the sites of Padang Bai nearby.
